Ostrich  – is the biggest bird on earth and it appeared 50 million years ago. It can reach and overgrow in height 2,50 meters and it can weigh 150 kilos. In nature it usually lives 65 – 75 years, and in slavery it lives about 50 years. Though it is a bird, the ostrich cannot fly because of its atrophic wings and tail. However, it has long and strong legs that give it an opportunity to reach speed of 70 and more kilometers per hour. This particular kind of bird has the privilege to adjust easily to any climate, even to extreme temperatures.
